How to Use the OEM Spec Guide

This quick tutorial will guide you through the steps on using the Beckett Burner Appliance Set Up Guide. Click each image to view larger.

  1. Locate OEM name.

For your convenience, this guide is arranged in alphabetical order by manufacturer.

  1. Locate Appliance Model Number.
    Example: COF -199
  1. Locate Burner Type.
    Example: AF, AFG, NX, AFII, SF
  1. Locate Air Tube Combination.
    This will include:

A. Burner Model: AFG
B. Air Tube Length: AF65XN
C. Head Type: F-3
D. Static Plate: 2-3/4″
E. Special Construction

Air tube is measured in usable length. The overall length is 1/2” longer. The first digit is in inches, and the second digit is in 1/8” increments. (Example AF65 is 6-5/8”, and AF104 is 10-1/2”.) This is important when ordering a replacement NLEA (Nozzle Line Electrode Assembly) for the Air tube.

  1. Identify the Special Construction Codes.

Using the chart in the back of the OEM Guide will help you identify nozzle brand designations.

Use the Flow Rae Chart in the back of the OEM Guide.

Using the chart in the back of the OEM Guide will help you determine flow rates at elevated pump pressures.

(2) “HS” on air tube combination = ceramic heat shield on combustion head.

(22) This application requires the use of a blank air band, part #3626.

(26) Burner requires Part Number 21295 four-second timer and solenoid valve.
